Update: EMS Leadership Academy, status post course…

We were excited to have worked with almost 50 EMS Leaders from all over New York state. We would like to thank the NYS Dept of Health: Bureau of EMS for recognizing the need for EMS leadership training and say how honored we were to lead our three framework courses.

NYS DOH Vital Signs 2015-October

This professional group consisted of both paid and volunteer EMS Leaders from many different backgrounds. Many different types of services were represented from private nonprofit and commercial ambulance services, to municipal services, urban hospital based and fire department ambulances.

Some providers were just starting their career while others had 30+ years of EMS experience, and all were coming together to learn how to positively impact their organizations.

These leaders all made a great commitment traveling to Syracuse (central), NY from as far as Buffalo, Albany, New York City, Long Island and the North Country of NY.

This was by far the largest and most successful course the EMS Leadership Academy has run to date.
